Year 7 September 2024 Intake
Admission to Bluecoat Trent Academy is carried out as part of the home authority co-ordinated admission arrangements. The deadline for applications for those children applying for a Year 7 place starting September 2024 is 31st October 2023, by completing the Local Authority Common Application Form (Online Preference Form). Notification of school allocation will be made by the home local authority on National Offer Day. For September 2024 entry, the National Offer day is 1st March 2024.
To make an application for Year 7 in September 2024, please ensure you are using the postcode NG5 1AL to search for Bluecoat Trent Academy when applying through the home authority’s coordinated scheme.
In Year Applications 2023-2024
To apply for an In-Year admission, please complete the ‘BTA In-Year Application Form 2023-2024’ below and return to the academy either by post or email as detailed on the application form. Alternatively, where this is not possible an application can be posted on request, please email bta-office@bluecoattrent.co.uk or call 0115 900 7245 to request an application, providing your address and contact details.
