Purchase of School Uniform

Bluecoat Trent Academy’s official  supplier of uniform is Just Schoolwear & Academy School Uniforms

The only service currently available for purchasing uniform is online.

Just Schoolwear stores are only open for Click & Collect and Returns, and will not hold any uniform stock, only a sizing set.

The Just Schoolwear team – will be visiting’ Bluecoat Trent Academy’ to hold a  ‘Uniform Sizing Event’ for the New Year 7 Students on Thursday 13^th June from 3.30 – 6.30pm.

 Students will be able to try uniform , which ensures the correct sizes are ordered on-line – Orders placed within 7 days after our ‘Sizing Event’ will receive Free home delivery on their order.

Academy Uniform

Bluecoat Trent Academy has clear guidelines on dress code, we aim to pride ourselves on high standards and all students are expected to wear the Academy uniform detailed below. The wearing of our distinctive uniform gives students a sense of belonging and helps foster a pride in the Academy.

Please see below an example of acceptable school shoes:

• Hair accessories should be plain black or navy blue (no bandanas, large head bands, coloured accessories allowed)
• Hair styles should not be excessively long, dyed or multi-coloured.  Excessive styles are not permitted.  Hair styles should be the students’ own natural hair colour only, without lines, shaved sections, patterns or wedges.
• No make -up, jewellery, body piercings, nail polish, false/acrylic nails, fashion badges/bracelets are allowed. Any ‘ear-piercing’ must be done in the long summer holiday as no ear jewellery can be worn in the academy. Inexpensive watches are acceptable but watches, such as the Apple Watch etc., which can carry data and allow communication are not permitted under any circumstance to fall in line with our policy on electronic devices at Bluecoat Trent Academy.

PE Uniform

The PE Department maintain the Academy’s high standards of uniform at all times. Therefore students are required to bring the required kit to ALL of their Physical Education lessons.
