Through student leadership, we reflect on the issues that matter to us and consider how we can make a positive difference. Charity is about more than simply raising money; it also means taking action, serving our community, and standing up for justice. We believe we all have the power to create positive change in the world, which is why we advocate for those in need. This page highlights some of the initiatives and causes our school community are doing to support.

Other charities we have previously supported:

Culture Day

Friday 11th July was a lively and colourful event where students celebrated diversity and personal style. The atmosphere was cheerful, with music, decorations and cuisine reflecting different cultures
A highlight of the day was a charity bake sale, raffle and staff penalty shootout organised to support the charity UNICEF. Students made and sold homemade cakes, cookies, and pastries. Everyone joined in, enjoying sweet treats while contributing to a good cause, making the day both fun and meaningful. In total, we raised a grand total of £314.80!
BTA’s Christmas Hamper Event
In preparation for the upcoming festive season, Bluecoat Nottingham Trent Academy will be launching Christmas Hampers this December to support families in our community who may be in need.
These hampers will include seasonal treats and essential items, offering a little extra help and spreading some joy during a time that can be especially challenging for many.
