The need for a secondary school in Nottingham City has been identified by Nottingham City Council and the Department for Education.

Archway Learning Trust has been approved as a sponsor by the Secretary of State for Education to open an 11 – 16 Free School to open in September 2021.

As part of the Section 10 consultation of the Academies Act for the opening of the free school the Archway Learning Trust is undertaking statutory consultation which includes its proposed admission arrangements.

The consultation will be run from Monday,  28th September 2020 to Monday, 9th November 2020.

If you do have any comments or feedback as part of the consultation on the opening of the free school and / or the draft admission arrangements that you would like Archway Learning Trust to take into account then I would ask that you submit these either in writing to freeschool@archwaytrust.co.uk, by post addressed to Bluecoat Trent Academy, Archway Learning Trust, Aspley Lane, Nottingham, NG8 5GY or via the consultation feedback form available online at www.bluecoattrent.co.uk/consultation-feedback-form.
