COVID 19 – Guidance for Visitors
In order to minimise the risk of COVID-19 to our school community we have put in place the following arrangements for all visitors (including contractors). These control measures aim to prevent COVID cases being brought into the Academy.
We are requesting that visitors kindly do not attend the Academy in the following circumstances and will be asked the question upon arrival;
1. If they or any member of their household have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days.
2. If they are showing COVID-19 symptoms or are currently waiting for a test or for test results.
3. If they have been advised by NHS Test and Trace to self-isolate (unless exempt). Or if they’re a contact of someone who may have been infected with the Omicron variant, (in line with Government requirements to self-isolate for 10 days).
All visitors should also note the following:
– Prior to visiting the Academy please complete a COVID-19 lateral flow device (or PCR) test (with a negative result), in the 24 hours before your visit.
At this time, visitors will be required to wear a face covering when inside any Academy building. Visitors should observe good hand and respiratory hygiene measures and continue to maintain social distancing as much as possible.
You must continue to sign in at the main reception and we would like to remind you that you should only attend site when invited and for all other queries you should call the Academy in the first instance.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
