Another successful Think Forward Insight Day with Year 9 at the Nottingham Building Society!
Students came together with around 50 other young people from across our Nottingham schools to complete a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style presentation of their social action projects to a panel of professionals from the business.
All our young people conducted themselves excellently and bravely stood up in front of a large room of onlookers to pitch the social action project idea they’ve been working on all term and received great feedback from business professionals.
The aim was to create the tallest, free standing tower using newspaper and cellotape. This task utilised work readiness capabilities such as organisation, communication, being driven and resilience (especially when their tower toppled over at the last minute).
A huge well done to the Year 9 Think Forward students who took part.
